The Ylang-ylang (Cananga Odorata), wonderfully transformed into an essential oil by a sea traveler, is the heart of the floral notes, solar itself but also woody, almost balsamic.
The amber and spicy notes (Nutmeg and Cloves) give density to the fragrance, while the deep marine notes magnify the solar side of the Ylang-ylang.
Then the white notes come back and turn into animal, solar, mineral and warm notes. It's the magic of the Indole, a molecule that comes from white flowers like Orange Blossom, Jasmine.
